This is my homage to G1 Optimus Prime. He was started on a dare from a follower who challenged me to make a Transformer. This Optimus Prime is 2 1/2 feet tall in robot form and same length in truck form. He is printed solely in PLA with TPU for the tires and using no metal screws or springs. The only paint used was on the silver stripe on his truck cab, otherwise every detail was painstakingly 3D printed. Some details are only 1 layer thick. He has about 300 parts and his trailer when finished will also fully transform.
